Let me preface this review by saying this: I haven't been to this place in YEARS. I've moved out of the state and was semi-randomly reminiscing on this place and how good it was! (I was ordering a pressed sub from another place like they do so well.) I recommend this place to everyone visiting Houston and they always underestimate it (of all places, a sandwich shop?) until they try it. You know it's good when you remember the food and the kind people running it years later.
I've been coming here since high school (that was 15 years ago) and they still have the best owners AND food! Unlike at subway I always get all the veggies they offer because they taste fresh and crisp. I recommend stopping by and giving them a chance if you haven't already!
My husband and I have been coming off and on (honestly we need to go more!!) for about 6 months after passing by it for years on the way to other stuff and MAN do we regret not coming earlier! We mostly get the Italian Sub on Zesty Parmesan and oh my goodness its the best sub sandwich in Houston, I would put money on it! We call in our orders and it never takes more than 5-10 minutes, which is conveniently the drive time to get there from our house. Not to mention the owners are the friendliest people in the entire world, developing deep relationships with all their clientele. They had our orders memorized by the second order. Can't recommend them enough!
